If your pre-teen son or daughter is experiencing challenges in school yard, feels unaccepted by peers, or experiences conflict with school personnel, this workshop might be quite helpful.
Pre-teens who experience social awkwardness, challenges in forming or sustaining friendships, or are often in conflict with teachers typically intend to maintain fairness, wish to feel accepted and respected, and sometimes don't realize some of the unspoken rules that are expected of of them.
The facilitator of this workshop, Ms. Tu Hoang, Marriage and Family Therapy Intern is a compassionate and warm person, with lots of experience in helping students feel better in their school settings and enjoy fun and adventure in their friendships and relationships.
The workshop will take place on 4 consecutive Saturday mornings, starting February 4, 2017 and ending February 25, 2017 from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. The workshop will take place at the comfortable and classroom-like setting at the Feeling Good Therapy and Training Center of Fremont.
There will be fun and interactive role plays, demonstration of scenarios, and use of games and props. Children learn improved social skills while having fun and making new friends.
The cost is for this 4-week workshop is $99.
