In our life’s travels, there are times when everyone could use a little lift.
Karen likens therapy to a mutual course of travel, often surprisingly (to the client) determined in direction and duration by the client. The role of the therapist is to reveal the hidden paths in the journey and its potential through acceptance and change.
Karen’s clients range from children to seniors, and she works with individuals, couples, and families. Education is an important component of her work, and Karen integrates teaching and equipping her patients with the tools to address life’s challenges post-therapy.
Karen is experienced in a variety of clinical challenges that include depressive, bipolar, and anxiety disorders, and personality disorders; relational/behavioral concerns affected by attachment issues, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorder; and problems in relationships encountered by children and adolescents with their peers, between parents and children, and in dating and marriage.
Karen is a certified trainer of T.E.A.M. Therapy (Level 4). She is an MIT alum and earned graduate degrees from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and the California School of Professional Psychology. As a Christian, she supports local churches and pastors with referrals and expertise. She is bilingual in English and Mandarin. Dr. Yeh is co-founder and Director of Training at the Feeling Good Wellness Center.
