The right therapist can help you develop the skills to manage your mental health. Here's how to find them.
If you’re a professional, entrepreneur, or high achiever looking for meaningful, results-driven mental health support you’re in the right place.
My name is Dr. Dashtban, Psy.D, a licensed Clinical Health Psychologist serving clients in both Ontario and California. In my private, boutique practice, you don’t have to sort through a directory of therapists or wonder who you'll meet week to week. You get direct access to an experienced, senior psychologist every session.
This part of my practice supports women through life transitions—like menopause, burnout, body image shifts, or work-life stress—using science-based strategies and compassionate care.
I offer in-depth ADHD evaluations for teens & adults, including diagnostic clarity, formal reports for accommodations, and personalized plans to improve focus, & well-being.
As a Clinical Health Psychologist, I support clients in managing pain, sleep issues, and addictions by blending mental and physical health strategies for lasting relief & resilience.
I help individuals facing persistent conflict or communication breakdowns—whether at home or work—build lasting clarity, genuine confidence, and strong emotional resilience.
My clients are often high-functioning individuals who are used to setting the bar high. They seek depth, discretion, and a therapeutic experience that matches the standards they hold in every other area of life. That’s exactly what I offer: focused, one-on-one care that respects your time, intelligence, and goals.
Whether you're struggling with stress, burnout, anxiety, relationship challenges, or simply want to deepen your self-awareness, I offer evidence-based support grounded in science and compassion. My approach integrates TEAM-CBT (An Advanced Application to CBT) to help you use structure and logical reasoning while making measurable progress; and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you accept difficult thoughts and feelings while committing to actions that enrich your lives in a way that aligns with your values.
Start your next chapter with clarity, confidence, and the expert support you deserve.

I trained under Dr. David Burns at Stanford for four years and hold the highest TEAM-CBT certification, which guides my therapeutic work.
I strictly follow the No Surprises Act, which means you’ll never be billed for a service you haven’t been informed about in advance. My rates are aligned with prevailing standards for highly qualified psychologists in Ontario and California and are reviewed periodically to reflect economic conditions.
Yes. I provide a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to help determine whether we are a good fit. If we choose to move forward, your initial intake session (50 minutes, in person or virtual) is usually scheduled within 1–2 weeks. During this session, I’ll gather a thorough biopsychosocial history and current symptom profile covering emotional, physical, and psychological concerns. We’ll also engage in collaborative goal setting and determine the best level of clinical care for your needs.
A six-week course of treatment provides the minimum “dose” of therapeutic intervention needed to begin creating meaningful change and improvement in symptoms. Much like a course of antibiotics, where the right dose and timing are essential to restoring health, therapy also requires consistency and structure to be effective. In many cases, we recommend a six-week treatment plan consisting of double sessions (100 minutes each, once per week). This format allows us to make steady progress without losing momentum or spending valuable time “catching up” at the start of each session.
