Being a woman is wonderful, but it does come with its share of gender-specific mental and physical health challenges.
No matter your cultural background, you experience an exhaustive list of changes throughout your lifetime. And it’s not exactly easy to get through them without professional guidance. Women often experience menstrual syndromes, fertility concerns, relationship issues, parenting challenges, and more as they age.
Through my extensive research and practical experience in the women’s health field, I provide empathic therapy and can help you with these and more women’s health concerns in as little time as possible.

My Approach to Treating Women’s Mental Health Concerns
You want to feel better, and you want to feel better sooner rather than later. My approach to therapy for women and all my therapy specialties is compassionate, empathetic, and straightforward. Together, with your commitment to making necessary changes, we’ll help you overcome any mental and physical women’s health obstacles.
Your individual women’s counseling treatment plan will include the following evidence-based treatment methods:
TEAM CBT – This highly effective treatment approach involves weekly six-week therapy sessions totaling 100 minutes per week.
The acronym stands for:
- Agenda Setting
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
For more information on this approach, visit my What to Expect Page.
Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)
Healing from trauma and OCD isn’t easy, but when your treatment includes TEAM CBT integrated with ERP, your success is nearly guaranteed. ERP allows you to determine what triggers your symptoms most and learn healthier coping mechanisms.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
As a proven compassion and mindfulness approach to psychotherapy, ACT enables you to put an end to denying, avoiding, and struggling with your inner emotions and accept them as appropriate responses to situations. ACT is key to helping you move forward in your life by honoring your true intentions and values and allowing you to accept things as they are and take action to make positive behavioral changes.
I believe you have the ability to work through and overcome what’s holding you back from true life fulfillment.
I am committed to helping you reach your goals as quickly as possible. Together, we can make that happen.
So if you’re ready to uncover the power you have within yourself to make lasting changes, then I’m prepared to help you.
